Open For Business

Dear readers,

It has been a hectic 8 months since my last blog entry. Since September last year Ive been building up my business which now has a base located at the Prahran Market just off Commercial road in South Yarra. The Moonbeam Kitchen now runs as a cake stall every Saturday between 8.30am and 5pm. After testing out various farmers markets in the last few months, I am greatly relieved to now have an indoor venue which operates on a regular basis!

The most rewarding element of running your own business is meeting the people who visit you every week. Our customer base is growing and every week more regulars pop up for their favourite item. I'm very lucky to have customers that are foodies, so they understand the passion that goes into each and every cake, biscuit or scone. Appreciation is so important and makes all the long hours and hard work worth it.
I've also been very lucky to have a huge amount of support from my partner, my family, my friends and my boss who has allowed me to use my kitchen at work to bake every week and who has single handedly built my website.
